The school caters for children from 4+ to 11 years. Currently there are between 80 and 85 pupils on the roll. The majority of the children are from Church and Chapel Brampton but some come from surrounding villages and from the outskirts of Northampton. In addition to the Head teacher, there are three teachers and supporting staff. The school brochure can be obtained either from the school. There are also primary schools at Harlestone and East Haddon.

Secondary Education
The majority of children aged 11 to 18 attend Moulton School:

This is a comprehensive school with approximately 1100 students of whom about 180 are in the sixth form. A school bus takes children to and from Moulton.

Adult Education
A variety of evening classes is held at the primary school. The subjects vary from year to year and from term to term, depending on demand. Brochures giving details of classes are published in the autumn and are distributed with newspapers or can be picked up at the village post office.
