Denton Bus service

Stagecoach buses no longer go to Olney via Denton, nor do they now go into the centre of Yardley Hastings because the cars parked in that village mean the bus cannot get round. Yardley Hastings residents have to walk up to the A428 to catch the bus. A similar situation may well face residents of Denton if owners of cars do not park with consideration along the Bedford Road. However there is not currently a safe place for buses to stop on the A428, bypassing Denton, and we could lose the bus service completely

While this may not trouble car drivers in the community, there are many (particularly elderly) residents who rely on the bus service. Please could we request car owners in Bedford Road to park with a little thought, particularly where the road narrows.

Please if you have off-road parking, could you please use it?
